About IWS Switzerland

IWS-Schweiz ist ein Zweig der International Watercolor Society (IWS), die im Jahr 2012 vom türkisch-kanadischen Künstler Atanur Dogan gegründet wurde.

Es ist eine Non-Profit-Organisation zur Förderung des Weltfriedens mittels der Kunst - eine Weltsprache, die jeder verstehen kann.  IWS versucht, die Verbindung zwischen Aquarellkünstlern und Kunstliebhaber aus allen Nationen, Rassen und Religionen herzustellen.
Unsere Ziele sind:

1. Förderung von Aquarellkünstlern,  vor allem in der Schweiz, aber offen für alle Künstler und Kunstliebhaber.
2. Promotion der Kunstwerke unserer Aquarellkünstler mittels Ausstellungen und Galerien (virtuell und physisch).
3. Fachliche Unterstützung der Künstlermitglieder mittels Workshops und Kursen.
4. Unterstützung und Förderung der Interaktion und des Dialogs zwischen Künstlern aus aller Welt, um das gegenseitige Verständnis zu vertiefen.
5. Promotion der Aquarellmalerei in der Schweiz, vor allem unter jungen Künstlern.

IWS-Suisse est une branche de la International Watercolor Society (IWS), fondée en 2012 par le Turque-Canadien Atanur Dogan.
Il est un organisme à but non lucratif pour promouvoir la paix mondiale à travers l'art - une langue mondiale - mettant en contact les aquarellistes et les amateurs d'art de toutes les nations, toutes les races et toutes les religions.

Nos objectifs sont:

1. Promouvoir et favoriser la croissance des aquarellistes qui résident principalement en Suisse, mais ouvert à tous les artistes et les amateurs d'art aquarelle.
2. Promouvoir les créations de nos artistes à travers des expositions et des galeries (virtuelle et physique). 
3. Améliorer le professionnalisme des artistes, offrant des ateliers et des classes.
4. Encourager et promouvoir l'interaction et le dialogue entre les artistes partout dans le monde pour approfondir la compréhension mutuelle.
5. Encourager la croissance de la technique de l'aquarelle en Suisse, en particulier parmi les jeunes artistes.

IWS-Svizzera è un ramo della International Watercolor Society (IWS), fondata nel 2012 da parte turco-canadese Atanur Dogan.
Si tratta di un'organizzazione senza scopo di lucro per promuovere la pace nel mondo attraverso l'arte - un linguaggio globale –per connettere artisti acquerello e appassionati d'arte di tutte le nazioni, razze e religioni.

I nostri obiettivi sono:

1. Promuovere e favorire la crescita di acquarellisti che risiedono principalmente in Svizzera, ma aperto a tutti gli artisti e amanti dell'arte acquerello.
2. Promuovere i quadri dei nostri artisti attraverso mostre e gallerie (virtuali e fisici)
3. Migliorare la professionalità di artisti iscritti offrendo workshop e corsi.
4. Favorire e promuovere l'interazione e il dialogo tra gli artisti di tutto il mondo per approfondire la comprensione reciproca.
5. Incoraggiare la crescita della tecnica dell'acquerello in Svizzera, soprattutto tra i giovani artisti.

It is a nonprofit organization promoting world peace using art – a global language –connecting watercolour artists and art lovers of all nations, races and religions.

Our goals are:

1. Foster and nurture the growth of watercolour artists residing mainly in Switzerland, but open to all watercolour artists and art lovers.
2. Promote the paintings of our artists by expositions and galleries (virtual and physical).
3. Improve the proficiency of member artists by offering workshops and classes.
4. Foster and promote interaction and dialogue between artists worldwide and deepen our mutual understanding.
5. Encourage the growth of watercolour painting in Switzerland,  especially among young artists.
