Artist Statement

I am interested in creating visually expressionistic images and objects that allow re-signify domestic situations related to the shadow as conceptual support.
I think my artistical practice has the ability to realize the shadows, exonerate the deepest secrets of trauma and conscious and unconscious desires, internal problems of the desire of the secrets; I reflect on art as a tool that allows me to turn thoughts around hegemonic situations in different social environments. The body / flesh, the pain, the scope, the morbidity and trauma in its purest physical and emotional confrontation on current discourses linked to the self-referential approach, are fundamental elements and concepts in the development of my formal proposals.
Portrait exploration, where the viewer is active builder in the development of the artwork; where the body experiences are not only physical strength, but also emotional. Within these approaches I  rethink the spaces in a narrative from the intimate.
Descontextualize faces and bodies that led to the paper, where the viewer is part of the catharsis to allow an infinite number of readings. The artwork is an act against the other, that breaks the logic of daily life, that's where I reflect on art as a thought that binds to the life itself, where memory is responsible for communicating a unique time.
